As stated in the AXA Press Release:

“The volunteer team of AXA joins forces with the organizations Boroume and Emfasis Foundation and the Municipality of Metamorfosi and offers 108 food packages to families and homeless people.

The uncertainty, instability and unprecedented conditions created by the pandemic crisis have greatly exacerbated the difficulties already faced by vulnerable social groups. Understanding the need for immediate care, AXA volunteers offered, with the support of the Society, 108 Food Packs:

• In 12 familieswith minor children who are Below the poverty line.
• In 150 personewho are in a state homelessnessVisible or not.
• In Social Grocery of the Municipality of Metamorfosiwhich is a constant helper 350 families.

Faithful to creating synergiesIn order to increase its social footprint with each of its actions, AHA has worked closely with:

• The Non-Governmental Organization Boroume, which is its strategic ally in matters of Sustainable Development and combats the waste of food waste, acting in favor of its utilization for public benefit throughout Greece.
• The EmfasisF oundation, operating in accordance with the innovative principles of social streetwork, supporting socially vulnerable groups and citizens experiencing multiple forms of homelessness.
• The Municipality of Metamorfosi, which has created since 2017 a Social Grocery to address the phenomenon of extreme poverty and social exclusion. “
