“Music on the Street – Therapy of Life” is a program that recognizes the desire of our beneficiaries to express, create, enjoy, and socialize. Through weekly music therapy sessions, the programming is tailored to the beneficiaries’ particular needs. This takes place both on the street and in indoor spaces, where permitted. The program aims to provide encouragement and relief to people experiencing homelessness, to facilitate socialization, to provide a safe space for emotional expression, and to cultivate a sense of community.
The first quarter of the program has been marked by steady progress toward the goals defined at its outset. The positive reception by both participants and partners has propelled the program forward and gives us great hope for its continued growth in the coming months.
